Waggener Edstrom announces promotions across Greater China and Singapore

ASIA PACIFIC - Waggener Edstrom Worldwide today announced several senior promotions, bolstering the leadership teams across Greater China and Singapore.

In Hong Kong, Emma Richards has been promoted to vice-president of global alliances, as she expands her scope to provide strategic counsel to Greater China clients, while continuing to enhance the agency’s network of global alliances.

Previously heading up the Hong Kong consumer team, Adrian Lau has been promoted to Greater China consumer lead, commuting between Hong Kong and Shanghai. Having worked with the consumer brands including Audemars Piguet, Furla, LG Electronics and Samsung, Lau will collaborate with the teams to further strengthen and grow the agency’s consumer portfolio across the borders.

Beijing-based Carolyn Chen has been promoted to account director for Greater China, where she will continue to manage key consumer and corporate accounts.

In Singapore, Carolyn Camoens has taken over the reins as general manager from Matthew Lackie, who was promoted to deputy lead and senior vice-president for Asia-Pacific earlier this year. Camoens will oversee the agency’s operations and growth of the local office.

Peter McFeely will take over Camoens’ previous role as the new digital lead for Singapore. In the past 12 months, Peter has helped to expand the agency’s integrated communications business, adding major brands like Changi Airport Group to its roster of clients, according to the agency.
