Vizeum India appointed as media consultants to Credila Financial Services

MUMBAI - Aegis Media Group's, Vizeum India has picked up the media business of Credila Financial Services, an HDFC Limited Venture.

Credila is a leader in the education loan segment in India. Over 40,000 students and parents have applied to Credila and the company has already funded students studying at various institutes including Oxford University, Columbia University, Cornell University and Carnegie Mellon.

The company has aggressive growth plans and intends to spend over $US2.2 million in advertising and brand building. Vizeum will play the role of their growth architect

Confirming the arrangement, Prashant A. Bhonsle, country head of Credila, said: "We were thoroughly impressed with the people we dealt with from Vizeum. In our assessment, they have the right hunger, passion, knowledge, experience and ability to make a difference to our brand."

Commenting on the win Ashish Bhasin, chairman for India and CEO for Southeast Asia at Aegis Media, said: "I take this opportunity to welcome Credila into the Aegis Media family. I’m delighted to see their fast paced progress.”

This business will be handled out of the Mumbai Office. Credila will also receive contributions from the entire Vizeum team in India, in addition to contributions from Aegis Media’s specialised solution groups, Isobar (digital) and Posterscope (OOH).
