Visual Jazz Isobar launches innovation unit in Australia

MELBOURNE - Digital agency Visual Jazz Isobar has launched global innovation unit NowLab in Australia in a bid to accelerate innovation through technology within the network.

NowLab:
NowLab: "collaborative"

The unit, which will be based out of the Melbourne office, aims to deliver innovation throughout the network as well as thought leadership and knowledge sharing.

It is currently working with clients from Visual Jazz Isobar and the Aegis Media Group on undisclosed projects.

Konrad Spilva, managing director of Visual Jazz Isobar (VJI) in Australia, said innovation has always been part of the network’s DNA.

“NowLab is all about leveraging the best technical and creative minds at VJI to rapidly prototype new products and applications aimed at solving a business problem or creating new revenue streams for our clients,” he said. “It’s a collaborative process and already many of our clients have jumped at the opportunity to explore what NowLab can offer.”

Spilva added that the network is now on the lookout for expert talent, such as robotic engineers and industrial designers, to help bring the ideas to life.
