TNS announces restructure with regional HQ headed by Chris Riquier

ASIA-PACIFIC - Global custom research company TNS has announced its latest restructuring with the formation of new TNS operations in Asia-Pacific (APAC). Singapore becomes the APAC regional headquarters, headed up by CEO Chris Riquier, effective 1 January 2011.

Riquier (pictured), currently based in Australia as CEO Africa, India and Oceania, will be promoted and relocated to the Singapore office as CEO Asia-Pacific, succeeding Jamie Hall, who in turn has been promoted to the role of global chairman.

Riquier will be joined by Heather Payne as chief marketing officer, and supported by Neerja Wable who, in addition to her responsibility as India and Sri Lanka CEO, will focus on APAC client development.

Hamish Munro, previously regional director for technology sector in the company, will become the MD of the Singapore regional office.

Reflecting the importance of China and Indonesia as rapid growth markets, CEO's of both markets Serene Wong and Raghavan Srinivasan will report directly to Riquier.

The company explains that the new structure, which was created to reflect the differing needs of APAC's diverse markets, will increase the level of focus on clients, improve efficiency and take advantage of Singapore's status as the regional hub for global clients and the headquarters location for many Asian companies.
