The agency will be responsible for media planning, media strategy and TV buying.

Mayflower, a brand owned by Taiwan paper giant YFY, was introduced to mainland consumers in 1993. Its success was soon replicated in Taiwan where it has long been a market leader.

Commenting on the appointment, YFY said it was deeply impressed with Vizeum's unique insights of the market and efficiency, adding that the agency's professional service and competitive price were the major reasons that led to the partnership.

Earlier this week, Vizeum announced winning media duties for Chinese frozen food maker Sanquan following a three way pitch.
