KUALA LUMPUR - Telekom Malaysia (TM), the country's largest telecommunications company, has called a review of its estimated US$11 million media planning and buying business - pitting long-time incumbent ZenithOptimedia against Universal McCann.

Separately, TM International (TMI), which demerged from TM, is also believed to be looking to name a media partner following the appointment of M&C Saatchi Malaysia as its creative agency in mid-October.

TMI is planning to launch a rebranding exercise across the 10 markets that it operates in Asia.
