According to sources, there was no pitch involved. TBWA is charged with the creative responsibilities for all three of the condiment brands. The first campaign is set to release in October.

Patrick Tom, executive creative director at TBWA Vietnam, confirmed the news: “Heinz is a widely recognised and well-loved brand in all western markets, and now it's time for Vietnam to experience a taste.”

H.J. Heinz, a US based food company, arrived in Vietnam in March this year and plans to enter the market with its ketchup, condiment and sauce brands and children's nutritional food products. The company is partnering with Vietnamese distributors including the Thien An Company, Phu Thai Group and New Viet Dairy.

According to financial website The Financial, the H.J. Heinz Company recorded a 41 per cent growth in sales in Asia-Pacific for the fiscal third quarter, with growth driven by Indonesia, China and India.
