TBWA Tequila wins Accessorize for its Hong Kong launch
TBWA Tequila will handle Accessorize’s digital communications and its on-and offline PR activation. It was awarded the business following a competitive pitch.

The brand began work with the agency to prepare for the recent launches of its retail shops in the IFC and Festival Walk malls in Central and Kowloon Tong, respectively.

TBWA Tequila will additionally generate buzz by developing a long-term social media strategy with planned, anticipated and reactive content.

Specifically, the brand has created an ‘Accessorize Fashionistas’ campaign on Facebook, which includes a competition to win a US$128 shopping spree.

“We have been extremely happy with the launch of Accessorize in the Hong Kong market, and with the work produced by TBWA Tequila to announce this both in our stores and across our digital platform,” Daniel Poppleton, international business development director for Accessorize said of the award. “They have a great energy and passion and have been fun to work with - exactly what Accessorize is all about.”

The brand claims more than 1,000 branches across Monsoon and Accessorize in 55 countries outside of the UK, including South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and Singapore.
