Star names Yim VP Chinese Movie channels

HONG KONG - Star has appointed Cora Yim (pictured) as vice-president of programming for its Chinese Movies and Chinese Movies 2 entertainment channels.

According to a statement from the satellite broadcaster, Yim will be responsible for content strategy, scheduling, marketing and acquisitions. She will report to Cheah ‘Cheek’ Chee Kong, executive vice-president of Chinese Programming.

Prior to taking up the role at Star, Yim worked as director of marketing and strategic planning at Imagi International Holdings, an animation and computer graphics licensing company.
