Star hires Iwamoto as VP of ad sales in Japan

TOKYO - Star has appointed Hiromu Iwamoto (pictured) as vice president of advertising sales in Japan.

Reporting to senior vice-president of advertising sales Jonathan Ellis, Iwamoto will oversee all sales activities for Star’s regional office in Tokyo.

Iwamoto has held a number of roles over a 20-year period at McCann Erickson Japan, as well as having worked as director of client service at Publicis Japan and most recently as deputy director, marketing division and general manager, ad sales department for Jupiter TV, a Tokyo-based pay TV broadcaster.
