Wee, who has been with SPH for 10 years, will replace current MD Allen Loh who is leaving the company on 22 June to pursue other interests.
According to a company statement, Wee's replacement will be confirmed at a later date.
In addition to overseeing the fashion and beauty portfolio, Maureen will also be in charge of the mens and special interest titles. There are close to 50 titles under SPH Magazines' lifestyle division.
