Thoa, the former head of communication at VinaGame, is charged with managing the network’s business from its Ho Chi Minh bureau through her past experience in media relations, events, public relations and communication.
According to GM of River Orchid Vietnam Sunny Hermano, the hire represents the business opportunities in Asia’s emerging markets, saying, “Despite the downturn in the regional economy, riverorchid continues to expand, Thoa being one of several significant new appointments across the group in the past few months.”
The River Orchid Group has 12 offices in Burma, Cambodia, Laos, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam and works with clients including Air Asia, Intel, KFC, Nokia, Unilever and Western Union.
