River Orchid strengthens Cambodia arm

PHNOM PENH - Boutique advertising network River Orchid has strengthened its presence in Cambodia by hiring four staff members, including a group account director and two art directors.

Frererick Teung has been appointed River Orchid’s group account director following his roll as the general manager of a start-up in the Philippines. His previous experience includes stints at Grey Health in Singapore and Harrison, Lowe and Hemisphere-Leo Burnett in Manila.

Joining Teung in Phnom Penh is former JWT Manila executive Eric Magno as traffic manager and art directors Arun Verma and Eric Li, arriving from India and JWT in Bahrain, respectively.

In other areas, O&M Kuala Lumpur’s Vijay Anand has recently been appointed senior art director of River Orchid’s Bangkok office.

River Orchid, which has offices in Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Phnom Penh, Singapore, Vientiane and Yangon, works with clients including AirAsia, Coca Cola, Intel, Unilever and Visa.
