The new business will be headed by director Aya Montebon and creative director Chin Pangan.

Terry SA Inc has tasked Proximity Shop with developing in-store retail display merchandising for famous flip-flops brand Havaianas while Bigg's Diner has put the agency in charge of brand strategy for in-store merchandising and local implementation.

The Pepsico business was picked up from sister company BBDO Guerrero and sees Proximity Shop assigned to provide in-store merchandising and promotional development for Quaker.

Montebon noted that the collaborative spirit within BBDO Guerrero gives the shop an edge in producing through-the-line solutions for its clients. “It has been a very productive first five months for Proximity Shop, with several new business assignments on top of shopper-focused projects for the current roster of BBDO Guerrero clients.”

Tony Harris, chief executive of BBDO Guerrero/Proximity Philippines, added, “It is particularly pleasing because the assignments cover such a breadth of what the team at Proximity Shop can do – display, brand strategy, field audits and promotion to name but a few.”

BBDO Guerrero & Proximity Philippines launched Proximity Shop in October last year. Later in January, it appointed Manny Nepomuceno as digital director.
