The appointment will see Bianca take charge of the creative department at Proximity Malaysia, reporting directly to the executive creative director, Richmond Walker.

Bianca started her advertising career with BBDO, and has since worked across a vast portfolio that includes BMW Mini, Maxis, Fonterra, Mars and Pepsi. She returned to the agency 18 months ago after a short stint away.

“Bianca has all the characteristics of a BBDO talent," said Michelle Achuthan, managing director at BBDO/Proximity Malaysia. "She is a passionate creative thinker who delivers game-changing ideas. I have no doubt Bianca will give Proximity the edge it needs to stay in the forefront of digital communications.”

Bianca has won local and international awards across TV, multimedia, direct and digital, including a silver Kancil award and a bronze AdFest award in digital in 2010; a silver award at the Malaysia Effectiveness Awards in 2008 and a finalist nomination at Media Spikes, Caples and Cannes.

“I was schooled in BBDO, and its philosophy is one of the reasons I came back,” Bianca said. “I look forward to growing with BBDO/Proximity Malaysia and delivering integrated solutions that build brands.”
