PR winners: Cannes Lions 2018

Asia-Pacific wins five Silvers but no Golds in a category dominated by a creative agency.

An advertising agency came out on top of the PR Lions category, with a total of 89 gongs from 2,111 entries, including a Grand Prix, 14 Golds, 27 Silvers and 47 Bronzes.

AMVBBDO London scooped the Grand Prix for ‘Trash Isles’ on behalf of Plastic Oceans.

Asia-Pacific generated 13 Lions but no Golds. Silver Lions went to:

  • TBWA Hakuhodo for ‘Pride Jersey’ for AIG
  • DDB New Zealand for ‘Rescam’ for Netsafe
  • Grey Sydney for ‘Hello in Elephant’ for the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust
  • BWM Dentsu Sydney for ‘Project Revoice’ for the ALS Association
  • FCB New Zealand for ‘Say it Tika’ for Vodafone

Bronze Lions went to:

  • Innocean Worldwide for ‘Chatty School Bus’ for Hyundai Motor
  • BWM Dentsu Sydney for ‘Project Revoice’ for the ALS Association
  • BBDO Pakistan for ‘The Bridal Uniform’ for UN Women
  • ADK Tokyo for ‘Future Cuisine Restaurant Ibuki’ for JAXA
  • Clemenger BBDO Wellington for ‘Give Nothing to Racism’ for the New Zealand Human Rights Commission
  • Clemenger BBDO Melbourne for ‘Never Before Barbie’ for Barbie
  • Ogilvy New Zeland for ‘The World’s Most Successful Recruitment Video’ for the New Zealand Police
  • DDB New Zealand for ‘Fight for Territory’ for Steinlager
