Polaroid appoints global media agency

Polaroid has chosen Brainlabs to manage its global digital media planning and buying services.

Assembly and Jellyfish also pitched for the account in a review managed by The Aperto Partnership.

Dept was the incumbent but decided not to repitch.

Benoit Carmet, integrated media manager at Polaroid, thanked the agencies that participated and said: “We are really looking forward to this new partnership and to elevate Polaroid to the next level.”

Leo Jennings, chief revenue officer at Brainlabs UK, said the agency’s strategy was to “challenge conventional media wisdom” and use first-party live data in a “smart way”.

Campaign has approached Dept for comment.
