Pizza Hut launches delivery campaign to support punctuality

MANILA - Pizza Hut has launched its Philippine Standard Time (PST) effort, the ‘Hate Late?’ delivery campaign, to support the country’s push to take time-keeping seriously.

Pizza Hut launches delivery campaign to support punctuality

The campaign encourages people to call Pizza Hut’s delivery hotline for the PST time, through print, a dedicated website and Facebook. A call handler will give the correct time based on PAGASA (the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical And Astronomical Services Administration), a service Pizza Hut Delivery has committed to give to the public.

The campaign is in support of a recently signed law requiring all government offices and broadcast media to follow PST from 1 June.

The campaign was launched on the same day.

Developed by BBDO Guerrero, the campaign was first launched in 2006, based on a strong consumer insight that Filipinos seem to demand punctuality when it comes to their meals.

David Guerrero, chairman and CCO of BBDO Guerrero, said Pizza Hut takes punctuality seriously. “So it is fitting that Pizza Hut would be the first to show full support when this became standardised,” he said.
