PHD has named Priya Alexander as MD in Singapore, effective in February.

She replaces Wan-Gyn Ang, who has left the agency.

Alexander returns to agency after a stint of less than a year at Mindshare, where she was senior director of global comms planning for Unilever. She previously served as global strategy director at PHD Singapore for nearly three years, working with clients including Unilever and Audi. She also has brand-side experience with Singapore Tourism Board and Procter & Gamble.

“Priya’s return to PHD in just under a year is a testament to the agency’s unique culture and exceptional talent pool," James Hawkins, CEO of PHD APAC, said in a release. "Her knowledge of the agency and acute understanding of PHD’s bespoke approach to helping brands 'find a better way' in their comms planning will be a real asset to the team and our clients in Singapore.”

Alexander commented that PHD has the market’s "freshest approach" to comms planning and said she looks forward to re-joining "a team that has inspired me to always ask the hard questions and challenge the norm".
