This marks the PHD's 13th office in the region.

PHD Vietnam will be lead by Method's Tran Luu Van Anh as managing director and operations will begin with effect from today.

A company release states that she is a well-known figure within the industry in Vietnam with experience across mutiple communications disciplines.

According to PHD Asia-Pacific CEO Cheuk Chiang, "it is also important to have people on the ground that are good networkers, particularly able to build relationships with both local and international clients – Van Anh and her team absolutely fit this bill."

"We have been looking at Vietnam for a while now. Many large clients are spending time thinking about their growth strategies in N-11 countries such as Vietnam because they know these markets will fuel a huge amount of future growth," he said.

He adds that PHD's presence in Vietnam is a significant development for the network.
