Wu, most recently chief digital officer of the O&M Group in China, will work alongside Raymond Tao, president of Ogilvy & Mather Advertising/China. She has an extensive background in management consulting and brand management including digital and media-agency experience.

Wu will oversee the day-to-day management of the advertising discipline in O&M Beijing, applying her significant digital expertise to driving creative excellence, client service and staff development.

She will also continue to hold her current position as chief digital officer, responsible for driving the digital transformation of the O&M Group in China. She reports to Shenan Chuang, O&M's Greater China CEO.

Wu has worked for Ogilvy for nine years, including as managing director of Neo@Ogilvy Greater China for two years. She has been instrumental in growing the agency into one of China’s largest multinational digital media agencies in terms of media billings, charting its strategic direction, streamlining operations across markets, and developing digital solutions for clients such as Lenovo, IBM, Cisco and Motorola.

Prior to that, she served as marketing director, Asia-Pacific, digital marketing and eCommerce for Motorola from 2007 to 2009.

Tung, most recently 360 Brand Team Leader at OgilvyOne/Beijing, has been named managing director of OgilvyOne Beijing, filling the vacancy left by Angel Chen, who was promoted to president of OgilvyOne China in September 2011.

In her new position, Tung will help lead OgilvyOne and assist Chen in overseeing the agency’s staff and operations while bolstering its digital core competencies including CRM, e-commerce and social-media marketing.

Since moving to Beijing from Singapore eight years ago, Tung’s experience in direct and digital marketing has been an asset for clients such as Cisco, Motorola, Michelin and IBM.

“These key appointments mark the latest step in Ogilvy’s pervasive digital transformation and coincide with the recent launch of Social@Ogilvy, our newest global practice, which unites social media expertise across all of Ogilvy's businesses to deliver business solutions for clients,” said  Chuang.
