OMG Malaysia hires Amit Kishore as head of communications planning

KUALA LUMPUR - Omnicom Media Group Malaysia has appointed Amit Kishore (pictured) as communications planning director.

He joins from MediaReach OMD in Lagos, Nigeria where he was general manager and will report to Andreas Vogiatzakis, MD of Omnicom Media Group Malaysia.

With over 12 years experience in strategic media planning and media research, Kishore has done stints in India, the Middle East and more recently West Africa, where he was responsible for the agency's overall media product offering and operations in neighbouring markets.

In his previous roles, he worked extensively across the automobile, telecom, finance, retail, FMCG, and pharmaceutical sectors.

Vogiatzakis said, “We are very fortunate to have Amit on board; he is a proven talent and has played key communications planning roles in his previous appointments. I am certain that he will be an asset to our team here in Malaysia and further enhance our existing capability and offering to our clients.”
