Cheung will work closely with Brian Zhou, president, and Joe Yu, managing director of H-Line Ogilvy and report to Scott Kronick, president of Ogilvy & Mather Group Beijing and Ogilvy PR China.
With more than two decades of corporate and marketing communications and crisis management expertise, Cheung has been with Ogilvy PR for 18 years. She was managing director of Ogilvy PR, Hong Kong prior to her relocation to Shanghai six years ago. “I am an Ogilvy antique,” Cheung joked.
“The growth of the public relations industry is always stable so I don’t expect there to be a big impact with the current recession. We must be aware of clients needs and if there are any budget cuts,” she added.
