Ogilvy Healthworld names Gloria Gibbons and Donna Tuths as worldwide CEOs

GLOBAL - President of Ogilvy Healthworld EAME, Gloria Gibbons (pictured left), and president of Ogilvy Healthworld North America, Donna Tuths (right), have been appointed joint worldwide CEOs for Ogilvy Healthworld.

In their new roles, the two will work closely to manage the growing globalisation of healthcare marketing across geographies in the Ogilvy Healthworld portfolio.

Ogilvy Healthworld currently has 55 offices in 33 countries and takes on more than 1,000 brand assignments from nearly 200 clients worldwide.

The two will report to Ogilvy & Mather global CEO Miles Young , who said: “Donna and Gloria are both consummate healthcare professionals and they are also very complementary individuals. Their joint mandate is to drive the business as a truly global force; to create a network that truly nets; and to create thought leadership in solutions and strategy in the face of massive change in how healthcare products and services are marketed around the world.”

Gibbons brings 20 years of healthcare and communications experience to the Ogilvy Healthworld organisation.

She joined Ogilvy Healthworld in 2004 when Shire Health was joined with Ogilvy. In 2004 she was named chairman of Ogilvy Healthworld UK and in 2006 she became president of OgilvyHealthworld EAME.

Donna Tuths became president of Ogilvy Healthworld North America in October 2007. Before joining Ogilvy Healthworld in November 2003, she was president of Organic New York, and prior to that, was MD of Y&R Wunderman New York.
