Ng Heok Seong joins Euro RSCG Malaysia as ECD

KUALA LUMPUR - Euro RSCG Malaysia has appointed Ng Heok Seong as its new executive creative director, following a number of new business wins in Southeast Asia.

Tasked with overseeing the creative department and working across key clients, Ng joins Euro RSCG after five years as Lowe Malaysia’s ECD, having been with Naga DDB prior to that.

Ng replaces Kit Ong, who is tipped to be joining Y&R.

His 25 years of experience in brand communications, includes working on brands including Shell, Cold Storage, Pizza Hut, Panasonic, Reckitt Benckiser, Johnson & Johnson, Mazda, Mercedes Benz, Tourism Malaysia, Philips, Tesco, Star Cruises, Coca Cola, AirAsia, Citibank, and Ikea. Ng’s most recent awards include a Silver at the One Show and two Bronze Lions at Cannes.

The announcement comes as the agency plans to reinvigorate the creative offering.

Andrew Crombie, CEO, Euro RSCG Singapore and Malaysia said that bringing Ng onboard is the first move in a series of appointments the agency is a “that will significantly restructure and reinvigorate our creative offering in Malaysia. He’s a top-notch creative leader with the type of energy we require to fuel our creative output and to push our clients’ brands forward.”

The appointment comes during a period of steady momentum for Euro RSCG in Southeast Asia – having picked up new accounts including Bosch and EPINS in Singapore, Hydro-RTD Coconut Water and SmartFren in Indonesia, and Racer Electric in Thailand
