The MRM Digital University (MRM DU) will select students from Manila’s top universities and colleges to take part in a mentor programme covering digital trends, digital skillsets and learning around paid, owned and earned media.

In the pilot programme, 32 students were given insight into the campaign-development process and challenged to pitch a full digital campaign for an MRM client brand.

Donald Lim, MRM managing director, said the scheme is set to be an annual programme and in the coming years MRM hopes to expand the curriculum and feature more progressive courses.

"This is our commitment to the youth, our advocacy in educating them on the discipline of digital marketing," he said. "We also see this program as our contribution to the industry, to bring in more talents to meet digital’s rapid growth."
