A spokesperson from Motorola confirmed that Morley had relocated from Singapore to return to Europe, but declined to offer any further details about reasons for his relocation.

The spokesperson further stated that Morley's remit remains the same, only the location has changed.

Recently, Lilian Chung has been appointed the marketing director for Motorola mobile devices covering international distribution markets spanning Asia-Pacific, Central Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Morley joined Motorola in 2007 to head up marketing for the EMEA region.

He moved to Singapore in August 2009 with an expanded role that included marketing responsibilities for countries including Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore within his marketing remit.
