Chongson is currently the chief executive officer of Blue Bottle, which she has owned since 2005. Prior to joining Blue Bottle, she was the client service director at BBDO Guerrero for four years and earlier held a similar role at Jimenez D'Arcy for 11 years.

Arthur Young, chairman at Ace Saatchi & Saatchi, said the agency has seen a lot of positive change since Seddon came into COO role in 2008.

“Our business performance has improved dramatically. I am confident that Mio will build on the strong foundations laid down by Matt and the team, and that the agency will get even stronger under her leadership.”

The chairperson of the Philippine 4As, Chongson will lead Ace Saatchi & Saatchi's team of 110 employees, working with clients such as Mead Johnson, Procter & Gamble, Toyota, Lexus, Kraft and Diageo.

Commenting on her appointment, Chongson said, “I am truly excited to be given the opportunity to lead the Ace Saatchi team. To further inspire an already charged-up, creative powerhouse—that will be a fun challenge.”
