MediaCorp launches Style:Men monthly magazine

SINGAPORE - MediaCorp has officially launched Style:Men, a monthly title centred on fashion, grooming and lifestyle for men.

MediaCorp launches Style:Men monthly magazine
The magazine was first introduced in 2004 as an in-book supplement to Style, MediaCorp’s flagship fashion title for women.

Style:Men was then developed into a fully-fledged magazine following the closure of the Singapore edition of Arena  in May this year.

The new men’s magazine is expected to compliment MediaCorp’s stable of fashion titles that includes Style: and Elle for women but will face competition from other men’s magazines in the city-state such as FHM , which is also published by MediaCorp and VIP .

Zita Ong, managing director of MediaCorp’s publishing division, said: “Style:Men offers something entirely different from the other men’s magazines out there. Its treatment of content and its presentation is unparalleled.”

“Over the past five years, many well-known luxury names have entered the male market here. This is indicative of a changing attitude among men. They’re a lot more open to the idea of dressing well and looking good these days,” added lifestyle group editor, Corinne Ng.
