MEC China hires Kristian Bengtsson Lee from Denmark

SHANGHAI - MEC China has appointed Kristian Bengtsson Lee from Denmark as communication planning director—a new role for the media agency.

Lee reports to Thomas Nolsoee, chief strategy officer of MEC China, who is from Denmark.

Responsible for strategic planning for MEC’s portfolio of clients in China, he will focus on combining paid, earned and owned media touchpoints.

Lee started off as creative director of MEC in February 2010 in Denmark and rose to communication strategy director in December 2011.

Prior to MEC he founded his own agency Fivestarday in March 2005 after leaving Swedish integrated communication agency FutureLab and Swedish digital engineering firm Kapacitet in the past.
