Hong and Primmer will report to  Stephen Li, CEO of MEC Asia-Pacific and have been appointed to MEC's Asia-Pacific Forum Management team.

In her new role, Hong will be based in Singapore and will work with Li on all areas of the media agency's operational, financial and commercial output, as well as controlling financial and operational planning. She joins from Ogilvy Action APAC where she was regional finance partner for the past three years. Previously, she spent 12 years with Bates 141 in Singapore as its director of operations and regional finance controller.

Primmer will be based in Hong Kong and joins MEC's global trading team spearheaded by Keith Tiley. He will be responsible for client trading delivery across all media and managing MEC's trading needs and new business. With over 20 years experience at MEC, Primmer has had stints in both fields of trading and client service.

"Asia-Pacific is MEC's fastest growing region and its performance will have a major impact on MEC globally moving forward," explained Li. "Our company's future success will partly depend on our continued operational, commercial and trading excellence. It is vital therefore that we have the right people in our organisation to move both MEC and our clients forward in these areas."
