M&C Saatchi Malaysia strengthens creative team

KUALA LUMPUR - M&C Saatchi Malaysia has appointed Henry Yap (pictured) and Jeff Ooi as ECD and ACD to strengthen its creative team.

Yap, currently the ECD at Saatchi & Saatchi Beijing, will return to Malaysia to replace Anthony Wong, who recently left the agency pursue his business venture. He will start work from the first week of May.

“We will continue to focus on brutally simple and effective work for our clients. And we also want to be recognised creatively as we put priority into our creative products and attract the best talents around,” said Lara Hussein, managing director of M&C Saatchi.

Yap has previously worked with several multi national agencies in Malaysia including Batey Ads, Leo Burnett, BBDO, and Saatchi & Saatchi.
