Petronas Dagangan (which translates literally as ‘trade’) Berhad (PDB) markets a wide range of high quality liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), petrol, kerosene, and diesel, with branches and petrol stations countrywide.

Sources have confirmed that incumbent Leo Burnett Malaysia retained the PDB business following a three-way pitch that also involved Paragon Y&R and TBWA.

Leo Burnett and Paragon Y&R are also linked to an ongoing pitch for Petronas’ corporate business, currently split between three agencies, as well as its lubricants’ business which is handled by M&C Saatchi Malaysia.

Leo Burnett also handled Petronas' annual Chinese New Year campaign, which this year highlighted the importance of family bonds and filial piety.
