Intel launches global brand campaign

GLOBAL - Intel is rolling out its first multimillion-dollar global integrated campaign in nearly three years, titled 'Sponsors of tomorrow'.

Intel launches global brand campaign
The drive is also the first campaign that talks about the Intel brand rather than its products.

The campaign will launch on 11 May in the US, Germany and the UK with limited teaser-ads starting today online. In Asia, the campaign will be launched later this month in Intel's high-growth markets China and India. The campaign will be extending to other parts of Asia later. Over the next few month the campaign will expand to more than two dozen countries, ending in Brazil and Japan in the third quarter.

The integrated campaign, which includes TV, OOH, online and other elements, conveys the message that the advances of the digital age have been made possible by silicon - the key ingredient in microprocessors - and the vast majority of this silicon has come from Intel.

San Francisco-based agency Venables Bell & Partners is the creative agency. It is the first campaign for Intel by the agency since being awarded Intel's master brand account in January. OMD is Intel's global media agency.
