Raju will spearhead the company’s business strategy, sales, business development, and marketing for the region.

Raju has joined InMobi from Google, where she led sales and business development efforts for strategic new advertising products with Fortune 500 brands and top agencies.

Prior to joining InMobi and Google, Raju worked with Nokia and McKinsey. At Nokia, she led global product marketing for the emerging devices business.

“Southeast Asia is one of our strongest markets globally," said Atul Satija, vice-president and managing director of InMobi, Asia Pacific. "Phalgun brings with her terrific leadership and sector experience that will help us further drive business growth and enter new markets in the region.”

Raju cited excitement about the region as her motivation for taking the job. "With a regional population of over 600 million and a high-growth mobile sector, mobile advertising has arrived in Southeast Asia," she said. "The opportunity to continue to build on InMobi’s brand and position in this region is tremendous.”

Raju holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Master's degree in mechanical engineering from MIT.
