ihub Media names Cheong as to lead business development

SINGAPORE - ihub Media Group's director of sales strategy for marcom Keith Cheong (pictured) has been promoted to the newly created post of business development director and has moved from ihub's Singapore office to its Shanghai bureau.

The move is part of ihub’s ongoing effort to strengthen its presence in China.

In Shanghai, Cheong is charged with developing interactive marketing initiatives for affiliate agencies and advertisers in China and Southeast Asia. He will work closely with Vincent Wu, the group’s general manager, in his new position.

Cheong has been in the industry for more than nine years, working for television networks including MediaCorp Studios, SPH MediaWorks and AXN. He joined ihub Media Group in 2007.
