The events are the third edition of World Cities Summit, the fifth edition of Singapore International Water Week and the inaugural CleanEnviro Summit Singapore. They are being co-located for the first time this year in Singapore, which allows policy makers, business leaders and experts globally to meet to address pressing water, environment and city planning issues in a holistic manner.
To be held at Sands Expo & Convention Center, Marina Bay Sands from 1 to 5 July, the three events will showcase the latest innovations in urban planning, water and clean environment solutions, with distinguished speakers from around the world sharing the latest trends and insights on building more liveable and sustainable cities.
Jimmy Lau, managing director at Experia Events, noted that hosting the three events together is an example of how Singapore is leading the way globally in taking a holistic approach to sustainable urban development.
“We are delighted to partner H+K Strategies and share our perspective and expertise in shaping the events’ global representation where policy makers and industry leaders across multiple sectors can come together to find integrated solutions to some of the world’s most pressing urbanisation challenges,” he added.
Experia Events is the appointed event organiser of World Cities Summit and Singapore International Water Week.
Singex Exhibition Ventures, meanwhile, will be organising the inaugural CleanEnviro Summit Singapore and WasteMET Asia. WasteMET Asia is a vertical event under the CleanEnviro Summit Singapore brand jointly organised by the NEA and the Waste Management and Recycling Association of Singapore.
Aloysius Arlando, CEO of Singex Exhibition Ventures, said there will be vital opportunities and challenges in managing the various environmental issues faced by every modern city, as many Asian cities begin to urbanise.
“We are pleased to partner H+K Strategies on the first occasion that World Cities Summit, Singapore International Water Week and CleanEnviro Summit Singapore are being held concurrently under one roof. Our collective aim is to highlight the fact that waste management effort must be a core feature of every urban centre's agenda for sustainable development.”
Baey Yam Keng, managing director of H+K Strategies Singapore, said, “We are pleased to be appointed by the organising committees of World Cities Summit, Singapore International Water Week and CleanEnviro Summit Singapore to drive the integrated communications campaign.”
