Hill & Knowlton appoints Marcus Warner as MD of Australia

SYDNEY - Marcus Warner (pictured) has been appointed as managing director at Hill & Knowlton in Australia.

Warner will report directly to Vivian Lines, president and chief operating officer for Asia-Pacific at Hill & Knowlton. He joins from legal practice firm Norton Rose Group where he was the director of marketing. Warner has also worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers and AstraZeneca.

"Marcus brings a strong mix of communications, sales and consumer marketing skills from the professional services and healthcare sectors," said Lines.

Outside of work, Warner is also the treasurer of the Asia-Pacific Professional Services Marketing Association.

In other news for the agency, Hill & Knowlton Sydney was appointed to the PR business for software company Mincom in May and as the agency-of-record for Tourism New Zealand in Australia in January this year.
