Henry Chu resigns, Tyson Deng to oversee Bates 141 Taiwan

TAIPEI - Henry Chu, long-serving managing director of Bates 141 Taiwan, has resigned and will leave the company at the end of July, citing ‘health considerations’. Tyson Deng (pictured) will take over the leadership role.

Deng, will assume the chairman role of Bates 141 Taiwan, in addition to his chairman role of David Advertising, effective this month.

Richard Yu, Bates 141 Taiwan’s long serving ECD, will continue to be the anchor in retaining and growing the leading creative reputation of Bates 141 in Taiwan, while Deng will further strengthen the management side of the agency, it said.

Conrad Chiu, Bates 141 Greater China CEO said, "We are synergising our capabilities in Taiwan to form a stronger Bates Taiwan team with optimal scale, like we have achieved in Hong Kong and China. Afterall, Taiwan is a very competitive market."

David Advertising Taiwan was merged into the Bates 141 group in 2007.
