Former Publicis COO Richard Pinder launches The House Worldwide

The network has been in "beta" mode for about a year, according to the company. Other prominent names involved include Chris Chard, former chief strategy officer of Lowe Worldwide in New York, and Ben Stobart, former senior vice-president of Leo Burnett Chicago.

Pinder left Publicis in March 2011 after five years in the COO role when Jean-Yves Naouri was appointed as executive chairman of Publicis Worldwide.

The House describes its proposition as globally minded, client-centred and focused on providing daily access to top senior talent—as opposed to only in emergencies.

The network's website displays work for clients including Microsoft, Maserati, Electrolux, Lego, Kikkoman, Nokia and Art Series Hotels, but it is not clear whether the work cited originated through the network or is simply presented to promote the work of the constituent agencies.

Agencies initially involved include Naked Communications, Red 212 (Branding and marketing, USA), China (marketing and communications, Madrid), Change (integrated communications, Paris), Prime PR (Stockholm, Brussels, New York), Rhino Worldwide (production), Kitchen-8 (brand consulting, Singapore), Equizone Global (events, UK), Path Worldwide (retail marketing consultancy and Chouchkov Brothers Studio (agency and film production, Central and Eastern Europe).
