According to the agencies, the affiliate partnership leverages Fleishman-Hillard’s global network for the Brisbane-based Rowland. Inversely, Rowland’s Queensland focus will help Fleishman establish a local niche.

The agencies add that their portfolio of clients compliment their strengths: Rowland maintains a focus on property, infrastructure, mining, industrial and manufacturing while Fleishman-Hillard Sydney has clients in the technology, consumer, healthcare and food and nutrition sectors.

“In recognition of our desire to bolster our offerings to clients on the national and global stages, as well as tapping into world-class intellectual property and research, we have spent the past two years undertaking a comprehensive analysis of the major international networks,” Rowland’s chairman, Geoff Rodgers (pictured), said of the deal.

“This gives our clients direct access to the most comprehensive global offering from both geographic and thought-leadership perspectives, while offering our new staff opportunities on the world stage.”

In the past, Rowland has inked similar deals with networks such as Edelman.

St. Louis-based Fleishman-Hillard has 80 offices in North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.

Rowland maintains an office in Brisbane.
