Draftfcb ‘New Zealand’s most effective agency’ at CAANZ Effies

AUCKLAND – Draftfcb has been named the ‘most effective agency of the year’ at the New Zealand CAANZ Effies 2011 Awards.

The agency was awarded five out of eight gold medals at the ceremony. The agency’s work for the New Zealand Ministry of Health, targeted at sufferers of depression, was named the ‘most effective campaign of the year’. Separately, the ministry was named the ‘most effective client of the year’.

In addition, Draftfcb took gold in a number of categories including social marketing and public service, sustained success and most effective digital or social media campaign.

Draftfcb also won gold for a campaign entitled ‘Influencers’ for the Alcohol Advisory Council of New Zealand in the social marketing and public service category.

The contest received a total of 207 entries, which were assessed by 150 judges from the advertising, marketing and research sectors.
