Dentsu Plus Thailand lures BBDO's Subun Khow

Khow (pictured) will not only supervise the entire Dentsu Plus creative department, but will also lead Dentsu Plus Design Ninja in order to strengthen its "unconventional design solution" to the Thai market, according to the company.

Subun is also assigned to be a part of Dentsu Asia's regional creative team. His aim is to lift Dentsu Asia‘s overall creativity to the same standard as the wider international organisation.

Prior to joining Dentsu Thailand, Khow was the executive creative director of BBDO Bangkok, a position he resigned earlier this year. While with BBDO, he helped the agency to win numerous awards including a Gold Lion at Cannes for Tesco Lotus. His recent work, 'Thai Health Promotion Foundation,'  won a gold prize from Adfest 2011.

Khow climbed the career ladder from copywriter with Lintas Thailand starting in 1993. In 1999, the company became Lowe Bangkok and Khow was subsequently promoted to associate creative director, a position he held for four years.

Dentsu Asia praised Khow as a top creative talent who will jumpstart the process of creating a first-class creative department.

Orawan Ditthayodhin was the previous executive creative director. Dentsu explained that due to the requirement of up coming projects and Dentsu Asia networks' future plan, the agency decided to have a creative head who would be in charge of both the local work, as well as being a core member for the region.
