Creative Juice Bangkok took home a Design Grand Prix for its 'Tamiya Calender' campaign for Siam Tamiya. Lowe Singapore's radio campaign for Samroc Paint and Hardware also earned the agency a Grand Prix.
In Gold, Euro RSCG Bangkok dominated with its 'Chameleon/Frog' campaign for Reckit Benckiser Thailand, earning three awards in the outdoor, print and print & poster craft categories.
Ogilvy & Mather Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur was honoured with the Agency of the Year. Runners up were DDB Group Singapore coming in second place and Mudra Communications, Mumbai in third.
In terms of award numbers, Singapore lead the region with 31 awards, followed by Thailand with 16, the Philippines with 12, Malaysia with 11, Indonesia with 4 and Vietnam with 1.
Throughout Asia-Pacific, Japan led the table with 53, followed by Australia with 49 and India with 34.
Overall, DDB was presented with the Network of the Year trophy with BBDO coming second followed by JWT in third.
The inaugural Independent Agency of the Year was awarded to Creativeland Asia, followed by Taiyo Kikaku and Aoi Advertising Promotion. Media Agency of the Year went to Dentsu Tokyo, JWT Beijing and Ogilvy Beijing respectively.
In total, 271 winners were selected from a total of 3647 entries. No Grands Prix were awarded in the Direct, Film, Mobile, Film Craft or Integrated categories.
