Herezie will operate independently in Paris, with Cheil holding a minority stake in the agency.

“Through this partnership with Herezie, we are confident we will be able to extend our global capabilities in France, and eventually other markets in the region,” said Bruce Haines, global COO at Cheil Worldwide.

Stillacci is heading Herezie as president and executive creative director. Wise takes on the general manager and head of strategy roles, and Callegari as associate co-founder of the French agency.

This alliance follows Cheil’s growth outside of South Korea, including acquiring US-based Beattie McGuinness Bungay and Chinese digital agency Open Tide China.
