McNabb, a former director with the Singapore Tourism Board, will be responsible for sales and marketing initiatives for the company globally, as its success at home in Thailand fuels expansion plans overseas. With hotels in China, the Persian Gulf area and India due to be completed over the next three years, McNabb’s success in her new role – which includes overseeing the development of the Dusit Thani, Dusit Princess and dusitD2 hotel brands – will be vital to the group’s growth, it said.

A Canadian national, McNabb brings 22 years of experience to the position. During her five-year tenure with the Singapore Tourism Board she helped co-create the ITB Asia Travel Trade Show and has previously worked with Tourism Toronto, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, and Fairmont Hotels and Resorts.

Chanin Donavanik, CEO of Dusit International, says the company was particularly impressed by McNabb’s cross-cultural management experience. “We believe that she will successfully support our rapid expansion plans, with holistic and innovative sales and marketing solutions,” he said.
