Campaign makes Vietnam Airlines look...really nice

This current TV/print/OOH campaign for Vietnam Airlines isn't high-concept (like the other airline ad Ad Nut covered today).

It simply focuses on the carrier's new planes, onboard amenities and routes. It also hits expected notes regarding its home country: beautiful scenery, warm people, delicious coffee.

And there's nothing wrong with that. The stated goal of the airline's partnerhip with JWT is to "globalize Vietnam’s national flag-carrier". So increasing consideration among travelers who know nothing of the brand is the order of the day.

The campaign, which launched in June, is airing in 10 countries (UK, France, Germany, Australia, Japan, Korea, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam) on global channels such as Bloomberg TV, Star World, Forbes, BBC and The Economist. It also includes digital and OOH at airports including Frankfurt, London, Seoul, Sydney, Tokyo and Paris.
