
Organised by the United Print Media Group, which counts representation from major dailies, magazines and tabloids circulated in the Philippines and other foreign markets, the Tintas was conceived to help raise the profile of print media in the country and to encourage creativity and excellence in print advertising.
The Omnicom agency had also been named agency of the year by three other organisations - the Philippine Ad Congress, the Philippines 4As among others - this year already.
David Guerrero, chairman and chief creative office of BBDO Guerrero, said: “We’re delighted to have done so well, across so many categories. This now makes it a total of four concurrent agency of the year titles we are holding. However no Golds or Grand Prix were awarded on the night, so there’s still plenty to aim for next year.”
