Sarkar replaces Robert McBrain, who joined Y&R Malaysia in September.

At JWT Indonesia, he has held the general manager position since the beginning of 2008 and was also leading strategic planning and account servicing. He joined JWT in 2006 as strategic planning director. Sarkar worked at Result-McCann India as national creative director from 2005 to 2006.

His client experience includes spells working on HSBC, Ford, Unilever, Shell, Mazda, Nokia, Hero Honda and Extra Joss.
