A number of agencies have been invited to pitch for the bank's savings business in Indonesia, with a focus on internet and mobile banking. The business is expected to roll out next year.
BCA is one of the first banks in Indonesia to introduce internet banking. It is also Indonesia’s largest private bank founded in 1955, and the country's biggest lender by market value.
Controlled by Indonesia's richest conglomerate Djarum Group, the bank earned IDR 3.9 trillion (US$433.3 million) in the first half of the year ending 30 June 2010.
